Randstad – a staffing agency and HR service – recently released their annual salary guide. And while this year’s guide shows the most in-demand industries and jobs, it also features jobs that have the best pay increases.

Data used from the Economic Research Institute (ERI) shows that even though typical pay raises average around 3% in the U.S., there are jobs with higher rate increases. They looked at base salaries in different markets and adjusted the salaries based on variables, such as location and levels of experience.

  • Engineering: electronics/computer engineer (8.31 percent); mechanical engineer (7.38 percent); quality engineer (7.36 percent)

Keep in mind that these numbers don’t always equate to potential for job growth, and some experts say you may get a bigger salary increase by changing jobs.
