Maxsys Solutions is excited to announce a full-time Technical Support Engineer with a privately held investment company in Dallas.   Our globally recognized client is an extremely innovative company that’s looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer with experience in Active Directory (users/PW reset), Windows and Scripting or automation (PowerShell).  The Support Engineer will actively participate in deploying and sustaining the systems and applications that are directly used by their end-users.  

Technical Requirements:

  • Networks/Servers, Windows, SCCM, Active Directory, Programming and scripting languages (Python, Visual Basic, C++)
  • Actively participate in deploying and sustaining the systems and applications that are directly used by their end-users
  • Provide technical support/meet technology needs for all employees
  • Provide support in the areas of desktop and server hardware, including performance optimization

Other Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science
  • CCNA, MCSE or other equivalent certification is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Previous experience imaging solutions such (Windows Deployment Services, Ghost and Rapid Deploy)
  • Fundamental knowledge of IP networking and system security
  • Messaging and collaboration systems, such as Exchange, Lync and SharePoint
  • Leading technical training, both one-on-one and in group sessions
  • Proven troubleshooting methodology and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well within a nimble team
  • Technical proficiency and desire to grow
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage an active task list and consistently meet deadlines
  • Proven track record providing proactive and innovative solutions
