Maxsys Solutions is currently seeking a SharePoint Administrator to join a global leader in the automotive & technology space in Plano, TX for a 6-7 month project.   Our client is one of the most highly recognized companies in the world and needs to hire a SharePoint Admin responsible for migrating Box.com content to SharePoint Online and OneDrive for the business. You’ll be responsible for the SharePoint administration and configuration as well as the verification and remediation of migrated content. As the SharePoint Admin, you’ll be interacting with the IS team as well as many other groups; therefore, excellent communication skills are key!  Must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.  This team has an extremely entrepreneurial spirit about them and our client is looking for someone that shares that same mind-set.

 

Technical Requirements:

· SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2010, PowerShell, administration & configuration, Sharegate and Metalogix migration tools

· Migrate Box.com content to SharePoint Online and OneDrive for the business

· Responsible for administration and configuration as well as the verification and remediation of migrated content

· Provide SharePoint training to business power users

 

Other Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or IT

· 4+ years in a SharePoint Admin role

· 2 years’ experience with SharePoint migration

· Box.com Administration experience is preferred

· Prior experience with Scrum deployments

· Experience in the automotive space is preferred

· Strong Microsoft Suite skills; Microsoft Office 365 is required
