Maxsys Solutions is seeking a permanent Server Administrator for an extremely innovative lending institution in Dallas, TX.   The Server Admin maintains and configures the availability and security of all servers and associated server-related systems.  This role also maintains, configures and troubleshoots SAN/NAS data storage systems and VMware.  Our client offers great benefits, 401k + match, tuition assistance and casual wear on Friday!  They are a fantastic company to work for!

Technical Requirements:

· Responsible for resolving network performance issues; establish a disaster recovery plan

· Optimize platforms for server systems, SQL & Exchange; maintain all server applications

· Provide technical support and troubleshoots server and server-related problems on local area networks and data networks

· Maintain, install, configure and troubleshoot server systems; maintain and troubleshoot LAN

  • Assist with testing and deploying new internal software releases

 

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, MIS or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience with computer and server hardware and software (including SQL, Exchange, VMWare, and Data Storage systems)
  • Must have excellent communication skills (both verbally and written)
