Maxsys Solutions is currently searching for several Project Managers (SDLC) for 4-5 month Contract to Hire roles in Dallas.   These SDLC driven Project Managers will be joining a dynamic group within the Brokerage/Finance space and responsible for managing projects related to 3rd party applications & tool implementations.  These roles will manage IT project initiatives from inception to delivery utilizing standard project management techniques and following Software Development Lifecycle protocols.   Critical to these roles is the individual’s ability to manage stakeholder expectations, control project scope and execute change control procedures when necessary.   Must have 5+ years’ experience in a PM role along with 2+ years’ experience within the Financial Services space.   With this client, passion in his/her work is just as important as one’s technical skills!

Technical Requirements:

  • Project Mgmt (SDLC), MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, Agile & Waterfall methodologies, UAT, PMP Cert (preferred)
  • Accountable for planning project efforts; oversee the construction of project deliverables and obtain appropriate stakeholder reviews and sign-offs
  • Organize work and prioritize deliverables; create detailed project plans and execute those plans to accomplish project objectives
  • Manage, track and communicate project progress to senior level Executives, ensuring quality is being met and delivered from initiation to completion
  • Work closely with other team members in creating and executing test plans and scripts for system/integration testing
  • Create project budgets and track project financials
  • Work closely with many different team members

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5 years’ experience in a Project Management role; must have a solid understanding of project management frameworks & methodologies (both Waterfall and Agile)
  • 5+ years of project management (SDLC, application development and infrastructure implementation projects)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (MS Project, Visio and SharePoint)
  • PMP Certification is preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in a Financial Services environment
  • Must have a solid background within Enterprise level environments
  • Must have excellent communication skills (both verbally and written)
