Maxsys Solutions has partnered with a global leader in the advertising space for a Jr. Email Campaign Manager role in the Dallas area.   Our client loves to hire people that are truly passionate about technology & enjoy working in fast-paced environments!   The Email Campaign Manager will own the setup, management, testing, deployment and tracking of various client email campaigns, which includes ad hoc, dynamic and triggered campaigns.  He/she will also serve as both an email SME and a primary point of contact for the ESPs, Agency partners and clients they work with.  Must have experience with email campaigns, running SQL queries, relational databases and marketing.

Technical Requirements:

  • Email campaigns, Email Service Providers (ESPs), Campaign media, SQL, Queries, Marketing, Workflows, HTML, CSS, Relational databases, Ampscript, GTL, Litmus
  • Own the campaign setup, implementation, management & monitoring on an ESP platform
  • Monitor campaign deployments & deliverability across ISPs
  • Work closely w/ Strategy & Decision Sciences members to implement eCRM life-cycle contact strategy
  • Define and manage ESP access and roles for internal teams and clients
  • Manage the Agency and client Quality Assurance rounds in alliance w/ the QA department
  • Communicate w/ both internal/external stakeholders regarding results, deliverables & status of programs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all ESP- and campaign-related questions or concerns
  • Work closely w/ Mgmt regarding the development of innovative communications solutions
  • Assist in gathering requirements; lead client design sessions & define application features
  • Work w/ multiple teams in developing actionable insights from all campaign results to optimize direct response campaigns & programs

 

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in CS, Math, Marketing or Media Design
  • 3+ years’ experience in an Email Campaign role
  • 2+ years in high-volume email marketing operations environment
  • 2+ years’ experience writing SQL queries
  • 1 year experience in a Leadership/Mgmt role
  • Experience with digital campaigns and marketing tools
  • Proficient with an ESP platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign or Eloqua)
  • Experience with Ampscript, GTL or Serverside JavaScript is preferred
  • Experience with Litmus and/or Return Path; experience with QA on mobile devices required
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 along with Responsive Design and coding practice
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Agency experience preferred
