Maxsys Solutions is currently searching for a contract to hire Senior Cisco Solutions Architect to join a globally recognized company in Dallas! Our client is well recognized for their professional services, dynamic work environment and proven leadership within the IT Security, Data Storage and Cloud space! They are looking for a Cisco Solutions Architect who possesses strong leadership qualities, enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment and excited to work in a large multi cluster and multi-national (global) Cisco Unified Communication environment.  Our client offers a competitive salary, bonus and great healthcare benefits!

Technical Requirements:

  • CUCM, VoIP technology, VoIP CPE, TDM Voice, Routers, Switches and Firewalls, network solutions (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper and Brocade), Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Voice Gateways (PRI, CAS, FXO, FXS), Virtualization with VMWare ESXi and vCenter along with Virtual Networking and integration with physical networking
  • Meet with client’s Commercial and Enterprise customers; collect requirements for infrastructure solutions relating to networking and security projects
  • Present and explain technologies to clients; guide them through requirements gathering and formulate a solution consisting of hardware, software and engineering services
  • Deliver any necessary content to be added to Statements of Work

· Provide advanced design, implementation and operational support of a large multi cluster multinational (global) Cisco Unified Communication environment

 

Other Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/MIS or related field preferred

· 6+ years’ experience in a Solutions Architect hands-on role

· 6+ years’ experience working with Cisco products/technologies

  • Must possess expert experience with call center technology, optimizing networks, PBX (Private Branch Exchange) Systems, ACD (Automatic Call Distributor) systems, Layer 2 switching, Layer 3 switching and/or Routing Protocols
  • Must have advanced knowledge in IP Networking, enterprise voice solutions, VoIP technology, IPSec, TDM Voice, VoIP CPE, soft Switches, Session Border Controllers, Routers and Firewalls

· Strong knowledge in VoIP technologies and protocols (SIP and H323)

· Advanced experience with Cisco Voice Solutions

· Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in resolving complex unified communication issues

· Good troubleshooting skills and experience in resolving complex unified communication issues

· Must have an excellent attitude and a strong work ethic

· Must possess strong leadership/mentoring skills

· Excellent communication and conceptual skills required
